Meet the team
A brief history of Elview
"After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a media and journalism degree in May of 2020, I began my career remotely amidst the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Working first in public relations at a small communications firm, then in corporate communications at a large international company, I quickly learned the respective challenges present for businesses of converse scale.
Both roles, though professionally significant, left me wanting for the freedom to decide how and towards what I would ultimately work. In November of 2022, I took a career leap and left my communications job to pursue a business of my own. Upon completing my sUAS training and obtaining all necessary permits to operate drones commercially, I passed my FAA Part 107 certification exam and founded Elview Droneworks. This company represents the amalgamation of my entrepreneurial ambition and my fascination with drones, and I am thrilled to see how it prospers in the years to come." -- Ian Lobaugh, Founder of Elview Droneworks
